PRODINo WIFI-ESP WROOM-02 V1

The PRODINo WIFI-ESP WROOM-02 V1.0 connects your Arduino to the internet wirelessly. Connect it to your wireless network by following a few simple instructions to start controlling your world through the internet. Plus RS485 connection, GROVE , UEXT, some digital and analog inputs/outputs and a few relays. It is the base device to extend your project to the IoT world. You can control sensors and actuators via the Internet as a client or a server. Also you can use it lots of and vary projects. We present you our board:

Our board is powered by Espressif System's own ESP8266 WROOM-02 module with 2 MB Flash. It has 4 digital optical isolated inputs, 4 relays outputs, 2 digital and 1 analog input/output pins, 2GROVE connectors, 1 UEXT, a RS485 communication connector, a micro USB connector, a header by programming, a flash button and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable and power it and get started.

Communication

The PRODINo WIFI-ESP WROOM-02 V1.0 has a number of facilities for communicate with other WiFi device, a computer, another Arduino board, vary devices support RS485, Ethernet devices (connected to WiFi router), sensors or other microcontrollers. A wired connection you can made through RS485 protocol. The RS485 communication supports easy link with many and different type of devices.

The ESP8266 WROOM-02 Module is a self contained SOC (system on chip) with integrated TCP/IP protocol stack that can give any microcontroller access to your WiFi network. The ESP8266 WROOM-02 is capable of either hosting an application or support Wi-Fi networking functions.

This module has a powerful enough on-board processing and storage capability that allows it to be integrated with the sensors and other application specific devices through its GPIOs with minimal development up-front and minimal loading during runtime. There is an almost limitless fountain of information available for the ESP8266 WROOM-02, all of which has been provided by amazing community support. In the Tutorial section below you will find many resources to aid you in using the ESP8266 WROOM-02, even instructions on how to transforming this module into an IoT (Internet of Things) solution!
